It was all a bit odd, but amusingly so. Seeing no reason not to comply with the request, Sam took the stick and gave it another long toss, chin lifting slightly as he watched it cut through the air before lowering again. This time, though, he gave in, crouching near Edward's side, though far enough off that it wouldn't seem like he was trying to read the code she was typing. Some people could be touchy about that sort of thing.

"I'm Sam," he answered, then gestured towards the screen, clearly interested, though not wanting to intrude. "So what are you trying to do?"
